Puppy Love

I think my child has a girlfriend...lol. Noah and this sweet thing are inseparable lately. They ride the bikes together at school (and Noah NEVER shares the bike there), they have to sit by each other watching TV, and they always give bye hugs in the afternoon. One night this week, he even got his first phone call from her! I wish I could have recorded the conversation. They were talking so fast, all I could hear was, yeah yeah yeah "I play with paydough" yeah yeah yeah. Ha! This is all starting too early!!!! :)

We've Been Busy!

We have been so busy lately, it's hard for me to find time to update...these days I'm just thankful to finally hit my pillow at night. Now, who was it that said two babies were easier???
So, here is a recap of our month so far...

Baby Dedication

These baby girls were so sweet looking you could just eat them up! Ainsley just had to get her hands on Harper.

Ainsley LOVES that baby in the mirror :)

For Christmas, I had my Granny paint a sign like this for our Nana and Mimi. Granny suprised me with one for my birthday. Thanks, Granny!

Noah enjoyed my birthday cake more than anyone.

This is Ainsley's first attempt at the Sippy Cup. She really just likes to chew on it :)

Ainsley's first baseball game....Thanks Ms. Lindsey for keeping her so cute!

My Big Boy

As bad as the terrible two's have been to us recently, this boy has my heart! He is so funny...lately, if he gets me really worked up, he will stop what he is doing, run up to me and kiss me. Then he says, "There Mommy. Did I make you happy?" Sweet baby!

No Chance....

Ben is as eaten up with this baby as she is with him! All he has to do is ask, "Is that Daddy's girl?" and she lights up. These pictures have me thinking about this past summer when my Daddy sang at my baby sister's wedding (the song "I loved her first"). Everyone was crying and as we talked about how hard that was for him to sing, Ben stated (as serious as he could be) that he wouldn't have to worry about singing at another wedding b/c Ainsley wasn't getting married! I am pretty sure that boy's just won't have a chance with Ainsley. Poor girl.
I love, LOVE my lunches each day....it's my special girl-time with Ainsley. After we both eat, we spend most of the time playing. Today, I pulled out Noah's old piano and she had the best time beating on it. Hopefully the Lord will give her the gift of music!

6 mo Check Up

Ainsley had a great checkup yesterday. She weighed 15 lbs 10 oz and was 25 1/2 inches long. (I'm questioning the length) I think Noah weighed 16 lbs at his 4 month! The doctor said everything is going great and even mentioned trying a sippy cup next month...oh my goodness, this is going too fast!

1st Haircut

Well, we finally decided to take Ainsley for a haircut. Everything on top thinned out while the back kept growing...and well...we didn't want to leave her stuck in the 80's! So, big brother gave her a good pep talk about being still for Mrs. Jane and off we went to meet another milestone.
