This weekend....

Noah and Ainsley are really enjoying each other now. They played all day yesterday. She absolutely loves it when he holds her!...By the way, my baby girl is 5 months old today!

This is a pic of my little Calvin Klein model. He was proud of the big boy underwear until it was time to "go". (please disregard the filthy house...:) ) Any potty training advice is greatly needed!

Pop killed a HUGE 14 pt buck on friday...he is temporarily being stored in our freezer. Noah keeps going to look at it and calls it the "reindeer buck deer". He is so funny.....I'm waiting in the official picture of daddy and the deer to be emailed to me and then I'll post the monster to our blog.

Mary's Song- My thought for the day

And Mary said: "My soul glorifies the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, for the Mighty One has done great things for me— holy is his name." Luke 1:46-47, 49.

Mary is talking to Elizabeth, expressing her personal praise to God for choosing her, a simple girl, to bring our Savior into the world. I can't help but think she's also excited about a son to call her own....I'm naive to think that I can relate to this, but as I read this, I am so grateful, for He has truly done great things for me as well. In fact, my heart is overflowing when I think of my two little blessings- my spirit rejoices. God is so good to allow us such joy in being a mom :)

New Shoes

Ainsley's Daddy just had to buy her these pink new balances yesterday. He couldn't wait to get them on her little feet...and I think she was just as excited...Oh, and how cute are those little rolls??? Couldn't you just eat her up?!

Look at me, Mommy!

We finally got out Noah's exersaucer yesterday. I was thinking Ainsley probably couldn't stay in it very long since she isn't sitting up yet. I was wrong. The child loves it! Within 5 minutes she had already figured out how to work the toys. Today she was even turning the seat around. I love watching her do new things!....as for the exersaucer, this is definitely worth every penny we paid for it.

Christmas Cards...

Last night, Ben and I decided to take a picture of the kids for our Christmas cards. I now appreciate what a frame rep told me about having more kids- "One is One, Two is Ten!!" This was hard work :)

One more time....

My sweet baby...

Christmas Bells Are Ringing

Wheww...we have had a busy week. Noah had his first ever Christmas program. I've been trying to upload video so that ya'll can appreciate just how well my child can keep time. He dramatically nodded his head with the beat of each song...it was so cute. I'll try to get that up soon. Until then, this lovely picture of Noah and the microphone will have to do.

Ainsley and her proud Grandaddy after the program. I could eat her up in that hat!
