A little surgery...

Tuesday I took Ainsley to Jackson for an appointment with an ENT doctor, Dr. Cole. Our recent fight with yet another ear infection prompted Dr. Alford to send us. After testing this sweet baby's hearing, they realized that apparently she wasn't really hearing out of one ear and barely out of the other!! Dr. Cole decided he would put tubes in this morning....talk about service! So, here we are at 5:30 this morning, right before they took her back. Ainsley was an angel the whole time, even though she was starving :) It honestly took longer to fill out the paper work than for the whole procedure. Dr. Cole said they removed a LOT of fluid. He also said she may be up all night listening to the crickets! Once the anaesthesia wore off, this sweet baby was good to go. I've already noticed her looking around in the direction of every little sound. The Lord truly took care of us down there! This is a huge praise!! Thank ya'll for your prayers for my sweet girl.

Did you go see Dr. Alford here? Tanner is on his 5th ear infection. I think we've been on antibiotics for 2 months now, and I want tubes!! The speech therapist in me is freaking out about him not being able to hear well.
